[He scoots forward letting one hand drift from Will's neck to his jaw and then down to his shoulder again, fingers tugging the neck of his camp t-shirt wider.]
Too early...[His lips find the side of Will's neck and trail kisses across his collar.]
I don't know, [ will manages between kisses. ] A couple hours with the camp essentially to ourselves?
[ hands flat against nico's back, the pads of will's fingers pressing along the line of nico's spine, will tilts his head up, brushes nico's mouth with his own, pulls back without a solid touch. there is a glint of promise in his blue eyes. ]
[ in answer, will stops teasing nico. closing the little breadth remaining between them, will kisses him deeply. slipping one hand free of nico's shirt, will cups nico's cheek, slides it around to get at the shaggy hair at the back of nico's head. it's soft and ridiculously fluffy and will loves playing with it. ]
Nico kisses back and he pulls Will as close as he can get. He doesn't know why he bothers putting up a fight when he knows he'll agree to anything Will asks. (That's a lie, he puts up the fight because it's fun and leads to this and he knows it.) He mumbles something between kisses, some agreement or assent and then immediately goes back to kissing (the stupid smug smile off of Will's face.)
He doesn't even know what time he agreed to. It doesn't matter, Will will be there to drag him out of bed.]
[ 6am indeed 😌 not that there is a count, but if there were the score would read will: 2, nico: 0.
will sinks into it ( is there a better feeling than kissing his boyfriend? the judges say no. ) he is so into it he does not hear the door open — though he does hear the sound of a throat being pointedly cleared after. will slowly turns his head.
they sure did have to get caught by the guy with one hundred eyes. again. ]
[Nico lets out a choking sound and pulls back, sliding off of the desk so that he can hide his burning face from Argus' many eyes. It probably doesn't work on account of the whole hundred eyes thing, but he gives it a good try. His own eyes burn a hole into the ground and he wishes they were closer to the shadows in the room. Stupid daylight.
He could slip under the table. (Nico would have thought that Argus being mute would make this situation easier to deal with but as he had in fact learned last time, it only makes the judging silence that much heavier. It drags on for another eternity (a few seconds, really) and Nico's face turns even redder, his hands twitching where they've fallen in front of him, hands clasped together as if to prove they aren't doing anything else.
After a millennia, Argus snorts and gestures at one of the cabinets, walking over to retrieve something or other. Nico remains where he is doing an excellent impression of a deer staring at oncoming traffic.]
[ it starts as a twitch at the corner of will’s mouth. he looks from argus ( even more silent than usual ) to nico ( doing an excellent impression of a sunburned tomato. ) the twitching gets worse, becoming a smile he struggles to contain. he makes the mistake of catching nico’s eye, and suddenly it’s not only a smile. a tiny choking sound escapes him, wanting to be a laugh. will focuses on a wall, but the twitch has become a quiver then a shaking of his shoulders. he holds a hand over his face, his elbow on the desk, trying and fighting and if argus doesn’t hurry up and leave will is going to suffer an aneurysm from holding in his laugh. ]
[The sound gets Nico's attention and he finally looks up at Will, his own face still blazing red, only to somehow impossibly get redder still at the sight of Will's smile. He glares as much as he can though it's not very effective given the general status of his expression. While Will looks ready to burst and Nico's face continues to give off enough heat to cook an egg, Argus continues taking his time.
When at last he finishes gathering his supplies (several of his eyes still watching Will and Nico in something akin to amusement) Nico almost sighs in relief. Then Argus moves to another cabinet and Nico buries his face in his hands and hopes for death.]
[Will moves away and Nico sinks into the chair, head in hands. He's still considering crawling under the desk into the shadow when he hears the door again and looks up to find Argus gone.
Nico groans and covers his eyes again.]
I miss having the cabin to ourselves. [It comes out a muffled whine. He loves Mal but this is entirely her fault.]
We should go somewhere. Without sisters and hundred eyed giants. [He reaches for Will's face as he speaks, thumb sliding across his jaw and a mischievous smile in his eyes.]
Anywhere. The city, maybe. I know a few places. [They don't do this often, but with Mal moved in, their alone time has virtually disappeared. He wouldn't trade Mal for the world but he misses it. And he wants to be better about this. Braver. Will deserves it.]
